Privacy Policy — Draskan

1. Who we are

MACRODARK LLC is a Florida limited liability company. For privacy questions about Draskan, contact:

Email: [email protected]
Phone: 407-227-3945

2. Age and where Draskan is offered

Draskan is for people 18 or older. We do not seek personal information from anyone under 18. Do not download, open, pay for, or use Draskan if you are under 18.

Draskan is not offered to residents of the European Union, the European Economic Area, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom. Do not use Draskan if you live in those places.

Draskan is not offered to people in Cuba, Iran, North Korea, or Syria, or to anyone with whom U.S. law forbids us to deal.

If we learn that we hold personal information from someone under 18, or from someone in a place where Draskan is not offered, we delete it and end access.

3. What we collect

On your iPhone (we do not receive this). Your X (formerly Twitter) API keys stay on your iPhone, in the device Keychain, and are set not to sync to iCloud. Your posts, media, drafts, and any draft files you place in Draskan’s on-device folders (including folders you may use with your own Grok or xAI tools) stay on your iPhone. The app is designed so that this material is not sent to MacroDark.

Subscription check (we do receive this, when checking is turned on). When subscription checking is configured, Draskan contacts MacroDark and sends:

• an installation identifier created on your device (a random ID stored in the Keychain, used to recognize that installation);
• the platform (for example, iOS); and
• the app version.

We use that information only to see whether a Draskan subscription is active for that installation and to return a signed status the app can store on the device. We do not receive your X keys, posts, media, or drafts in that check.

If you subscribe or pay on the web. Payments are made on MacroDark’s website, not through Apple In-App Purchase. We may collect your name, email address, and billing details. Card numbers go to our payment processor. We do not store the full card number. We may keep the last four digits, the card brand, the expiry month, and the processor’s customer or payment identifiers if the processor sends them. We keep a record that you agreed to the charge and to these terms.

If you contact us. We receive what you send to [email protected] or tell us by phone, including your name, email, phone number, and message.

Notifications. If you turn on in-app notifications, they are local notifications on your iPhone. We do not use a MacroDark push-notification service to send those alerts.

Apple. If you download Draskan from TestFlight or the App Store, Apple may collect information under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy. We do not control Apple’s collection.

What we do not do, as the app is designed. The app is designed without third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs, and without sending your X keys, posts, media, or drafts to MacroDark. We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. Why we use it

We use personal information to operate Draskan, to check and provide subscription access, to take payment, to answer you, to prevent abuse and fraud, to keep tax and accounting records, and to defend a claim.

We use the installation identifier, platform, and app version only to match an installation to a subscription and to keep that access current.

5. Who sees it

Operators of MacroDark who need it to do that work. Processors that host our website and billing systems, send email, or process payments. Apple, if you obtain the app through Apple.

If you publish a post, you send it to X with your own X credentials. X’s terms and privacy policy apply to what you send X. MacroDark is not affiliated with or endorsed by X Corp. or its affiliates.

If you use Grok, xAI, or similar tools with your own accounts, that is your relationship with those providers. Their terms and privacy policies apply to what you send them. MacroDark is not affiliated with or endorsed by xAI. “Grok” and related marks belong to their owners. Draskan does not provide the Grok service and does not use those marks as our own product name.

We disclose information if the law requires it, to enforce our terms, or to defend a claim.

6. How long we keep it

The installation identifier and subscription-status records: for as long as the installation may need access, and then for as long as tax rules, a chargeback window, a renewal-consent rule, or a claim reasonably requires. Where a renewal statute requires us to keep the consent record, we keep that record for three years after the subscription ends.

Payment and invoice records: at least as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Messages you send us: as long as we need to reply and for a reasonable archive, unless you ask us to delete them and we are not required to keep them by law, a chargeback window, or a claim.

If you use Settings in the app to delete all app data, that wipes keys, drafts, media, and settings from that iPhone. It does not by itself erase billing records we already hold. Uninstalling the app removes what is stored on that device.

Backups expire on our ordinary backup cycle after deletion.

7. Your choices

You may refuse the subscription check by not configuring or not using paid access; without an active subscription, paid features stay locked after the free posts described in the Terms of Use.

You may cancel a paid subscription at any time, online, on the MacroDark website where you started or manage the subscription, before the next renewal.

You may email [email protected] to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. We may keep what the law, a chargeback window, or a claim requires.

8. Security

We use ordinary commercial care. No method is perfect. Do not send a password or a full card number by email.

9. Changes

If we change this policy in a material way, we will post the updated policy at this URL and update the effective date. If the change affects how we use information we already have in a material way, we will give notice that is reasonable in the circumstances, such as an in-app notice or an email if we have one.
